Sameness

Coincidentally to the previous post on our faux bois wedding, I am featured in this wood-grain inspired treasury: Wood Grain Love Story. So beautiful. And so appropriate.

Wojcik - like "whoa chick"

I know, I've been a really horrible blogger, but really do you expect more out of me... most likely not. Thank you to anyone who is actually reading this, I am going to try to be better.

I kind of have a good excuse though... I got married! I know, crazy! We had a small ceremony (very small, just the two of us and a officiant and a photographer) right on the coast in Ogunquit Maine and it was beautiful and intimate and everything we wanted. It was our first actual vacation alone EVER so that was a pretty big deal too. It was a quick trip, we were only there for a couple of days, but it was beautiful. We were there at the beginning of March so it was not the vacation season which was kind of nice. It was a little chilly the first day we were there and for our ceremony, but we had really great weather for the rest of the trip. We also ate some really amazing food, and got massages and just did a lot of relaxing and looking at the ocean. Then in May our family held a reception for us in Buffalo and that was a lot of fun, mostly because I got to decorate and make things. Plus, now I have a new and difficult last name.

As a gift, our friend Travis of Travis Neely Photography took these amazing photos for us. He is an incredible photographer and does tons of weddings as well as some local artist portraits among other things. I highly recommend checking out his website, even if you aren't in Pittsburgh or in the market for a photographer. You won't regret it.

Also keeping me busy: job hunting (again). Let me know if you know of any Pittsburgh creative jobs!
